Innovation Assessment Life Science Reports

A novel cell study device including an array of wells and capillary channels to lead fluid form to the cells. The device comprises multiple layers with apertures, defining capillary flow in spaces between. The device has a conduit layer and cover layer acting as side walls for the capillary flow channel and includes one or more air holes in communication with said cell holding area for air release.

This study explores the small molecule structure of heterocyclic compounds containing functional groups such as N-tert-Butyl, pyridine-2-carboxamide, and 2-(2hydroxy-phenyl)acetyl]amino for the treatment of cystic fibrosis.

Next-generation sequencing systems comprise a dry reagent cartridge, syringe pump, flow cell, and rehydrating dry reagent. The system has reagent cartridges, which include dry reagents that have increased shelf life and stability compared to liquid reagents and may be shipped and stored at ambient temperature. The apparatus includes a liquid reservoir containing a liquid and a good assembly, including a body, a hydrophobic venting membrane, and a cover.
